In spring 2025 Adam Davis ; a founder of River BoatyardLtd (Gweek Cornwall) convened a small meeting with RCYC members to discuss the creation of a new regatta to be held in the beautiful Falmouth Harbour (UK) and the surrounding Cornish coastline that would be dedicated exclusively to multihull Cruising & racing yachts.
Adam had seen & been part of the rapid growth of catamaran and trimaran sailing vessels in the Cornwall & the mediterranean Sailing Yachts Such as the mighty PARADOX3 & fast cruiser Rapido50 FLINT along with the re-birth of the FIREBIRD catamarans in Falmouth.
Currently for our 1st years regatta we have interest of up to 15 boats, ranging from Dart 18's/Firebirds/farrier trimarans/Nigel Irens 63' trimaran supported also with a strong line up of the graceful Dazcat’s that feature heavily in the local MOCRA scene.

The regatta features a mix of windward-leeward races and coastal racing, designed to test different sailing skills. The buoy race around the bay is subject to wind conditions.
All races will take place in the beautiful waters of Falmouth Bay and Carrick Roads, offering spectacular sailing conditions and stunning Cornish coastline views.
